Wayne Community College (WCC) seeks applications to serve as the next President of Wayne Community College in Goldsboro, NC.  This leader will be responsible for fostering student success initiatives, workforce readiness programs, and the strategic goals needed for WCC to be the first-choice for an institution of higher education for students within, and around, the service area. This position will build upon and create partnerships with other higher education institutions, regional employers, and the community.  WCC completed its last SACSCOC decennial review in 2016 and is currently undergoing its Fifth-Year review process.  The decennial review offered no findings, resulting in no recommendations.  WCC is funded through four distinct sources of revenue: state (60%), local (13%), federal (19%), and institutional funds including grants (8%).  In total, WCC operates with an annual budget of over $40,000,000.  Most of that funding comes in correlation with its FTE generation.  WCC annual FTE counts are approximately 460 FTE through workforce continuing education programs, and over 2600 FTE through traditional curriculum programs.

The position of President will have an effective date of employment of January 1, 2022, and a salary range of $200,000 to $225,000, commensurate with qualifications.
