About PTC
Pittsburgh Technical College is a private, non-profit and regionally accredited institution committed to higher education excellence and focused on academic and professional success. Purpose of Job
The ideal candidate will teach coursework in the C.A.D. M.E.T. Program and provide training and student support to produce graduates who meet entry-level employment criteria for positions in the CAD field.

Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in field preferred
State Teaching Certification not required

Experience Requirements
Areas of expertise in one or more of the following:
  • Detailing
  • Assembly
  • GD&T
  • Design Process
  • Casting & Molding
  • Sheet Metal
  • Related skill requirements:
  • CAD/design experience in the Mechanical Industry
  • Software experience but not required:
  • CREO, SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, Autodesk Pipe 3D
  • Four years of CAD related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Software experience: CREO, SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, Autodesk Pipe 3D
  • Four years of CAD related work experience.
  • Preference is given for prior teaching experience.

Work Schedule
Adjunct – Hours will vary based on course(s) being taught (DAYLIGHT and NIGHT-TIME HOURS NEEDED) 7:00am to 9:30pm timeframe

Working Conditions:
Equipment used includes desktop or laptop with Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone, and other general office equipment
Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position
Work generally performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards

Starting Pay Rate starting $41.25 per class hour
