Title: Lecturer in Geology

Date needed: Spring 2023

Hartwick College, a nationally ranked, selective liberal arts and sciences institution,
invites applications for a part-time position as Lecturer in Geology for the Spring 2023 semester. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach one section of Planetology (a 3-credit course) and one section of Forensic Geology (a 3-credit course). Although these courses are not laboratory courses, they need to include hands-on class exercises. The opportunity to teach in future semesters may be available.

 

Qualifications include ABD or Ph.D. in Geology/Earth science.  A.B.D. candidates are encouraged to apply, as this is an opportunity to gain teaching experience with coaching and mentoring by departmental faculty. Applicants should be committed to teaching excellence.
