Job Description:

The Office of the Registrar at the State University of New York College at Oneonta invites applications for the position of Operations Manager . Expectations include, but are not limited to, customer service, general office management, construction of the office production schedule and annual calendar, and providing support in areas related to the Registrar's Office as well as representing the Registrar's Office in various capacities while maintaining a positive customer service attitude.

The Registrar's Office plays a critical role on campus to support our students and propel them into success. This dynamic department consists of 9 individuals who foster a fun and enjoyable work atmosphere. Their key areas of focus include scheduling classes, registering students, processing grades, ensuring the integrity of the academic record, certifying students for award of degrees, and administering academic policy and procedure. Duties include but are not limited to: customer service for students and faculty, office management, inventory control, budget maintenance, construction of the office production schedule and annual calendar, participation in grading and all areas of faculty services. This position will assist with the distribution and collection of materials related to the college catalogs, act as a contact for the National Student Clearinghouse and provide support in areas related to the Registrar's Office.

Salary commensurate with experience: $44,374.


Requirements:

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of two years' experience working in higher education
  • Experience handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Two years of experience with customer service.
Preferred:
  • Two years of experience working with Banner software system or a similar student information system in student records
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Experience working with and serving diverse populations
