Position Summary:

The Programs Coordinator is responsible for executing all logistical aspects of an assigned portfolio of short-term programs worldwide, including working with faculty to design programs and securing services with vendors. The Programs Coordinator will also be responsible for one or two specific functions that support faculty-led programs overall.

Minimum Qualifications:

*Bachelor’s Degree and two years related professional experience OR a Master’s Degree and one year of related professional experience. (Professional experience can be in a student work or intern capacity.) *Experience studying or living abroad.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Superior organizational skills.
*Ability to work some evenings and weekends.
*Ability to work with and include a diverse student, faculty, and staff community.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

*At least one year experience as an administrator of Studio Abroad (Terra Dotta).
*Participant on and/or managed a short term program abroad.
*Experience working with international service providers and/or travel services
*Experience working with a diverse student, faculty, and staff community.

A federal court on December 7, 2021, issued a ruling that suspends the COVID-19 vaccine requirement that applies to federal contractors nationwide. With this development, the University will pause any enforcement action against employees who have not complied with the requirement to be fully vaccinated by Dec. 8, 2021 or to have requested an exemption to maintain their employment status.
