Position Summary

The University at Buffalo, Department of Ophthalmology is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to independently and collaboratively perform research in the area of neuronal-vascular diseases in the eye. In this position, you will conduct research and interact with the principal investigator, graduate students, and collaborators. General lab duties will include:
  • Performing research
  • Analyzing research data
  • Preparing manuscript and publishing research data
  • Additional research based activities.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Applicants should have a Ph.D degree with a background in the Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Biology, Biomedical Engineer or related disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with small animal studies, cell culture and molecular biology techniques
  • Good communication and writing skills
