Monday-Friday 8 AM- 5 PM or as needed
Job Description
Provide support, coordination, and direction regarding capital outlay, maintenance reserve, and non-capital construction project procurement, records management, reporting, and records retention for the 23 community colleges and the system office. Provide administrative and essential customer support for the e-Builder Project Management System. Acts as the e-Builder system administrator, maintains the system, trains users, designs and tests processes. Assists contracts officer and procurement manager processing procurement requests.
Special Assignments
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

Substantial knowledge, skill and ability in facilities related recordkeeping and public procurement practices. Ability to perform high level administrative support in a higher education environment. Significant computer expertise with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Adobe products, Ebuilder Project Management system, website publishing, electronic procurement systems and/or other automated office tools. Strong writing, proofreading and editing skills. Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge regarding public procurement best practices and the DGS central electronic procurement website.
Graduation from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of training and experience required to perform assigned duties. Experience in capital outlay administration and/or public sector procurement in a higher education or government agency environment. Certification as a VCA or VCCO preferred or the ability to gain certification within six months of obtaining the position.
