The Coordinator, Career Services primary focus is to assure services are scheduled and implemented across all areas including:
This position functions as the point of contact for students and is responsible for making sure all stakeholders are guided to the appropriate staff.

Other Duties
May supervise the day-to-day functions of student interns
Other related duties as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Social Services or related field.
Experience
1-3 years of experience in customer service, administrative or office experience preferred.
Licensing and Certifications
None.
Physical Requirements
Work in noisy (above 85 decibels) areas
Sedentary Work - Exerting 10 pounds
Occasionally
Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds
Occasionally

- Pre-professional programs
- Internships and apprenticeships
This position functions as the point of contact for students and is responsible for making sure all stakeholders are guided to the appropriate staff.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- High quality organizational skills
- The ability to work well under deadlines and to multitask
- The ability to build relationships and coalitions within the community
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Assess the service needs of student and connect them with the appropriate resource
- Assists the students register and navigate in Handshake with vetted resume uploaded
- Coordinates and monitors the Workstudy/Student Interns hiring and work processes
- Create and maintain a directory of career service providers and resources
- Create and maintain a database of students, students needs, employers, and resources
- Assess students issues and provide recommendations/referrals to appropriate resource
- Ensure each client is given the necessary services and follow up to fill ongoing service needs
- Maintain good relationships with career service providers, faculty and students
- Assists with coordinating all career and professional development programming
- Maintains, processes and coordinates procurement receipts and purchase orders
- Answer telephones and respond to email inquiries in the office
Other Duties
