Landmark College (LC) is highly entrepreneurial accredited college for bright neurodivergent students with learning differences (LD; including dyslexia, ADHD, autism, and executive function challenges). Located within the broader tri-state cultural region of Vermont, New Hampshire, and Northwest Massachusetts, our beautiful southern Vermont campus is also within easy driving distance to several major cities like Boston and New York. The College is in a growth phase for its residential and LC Online programs. Specifically, LC seeks Assistant Professors in Communication/Project Management for the academic term beginning Fall 2023.
The successful candidate will have primary responsibilities in the B.A. in Communications and Entrepreneurial Leadership program and in the A.A. program in Business Studies. As a project management expert, the successful candidate will join an interdisciplinary team of communication, media studies, and business faculty interested in advancing project management and entrepreneurship projects in the curriculum and co -curriculum and will play an important role in the College's strategic initiative to develop student career readiness. Preference will be given to candidates with a proven track record of offering experiential education programs and have demonstrated a commitment to innovative pedagogical design
To be a faculty member at Landmark College is to be dedicated to a variety of pedagogical approaches which allow students to achieve standards of academic success comparable to more conventional institutions. Active participation in departmental and College activities as part of service is expected. A terminal degree or commensurate experience in the discipline or a related field is highly desirable. A working understanding of the nature of specific learning disabilities and teaching experience at the college level are also highly desirable.
