Job Description Summary
The Department of Psychological Sciences at Auburn University invites applications for a non-tenure track position as an Assistant Clinical Professor beginning fall semester, August 16, 2023. The position is renewable based on need, performance, and availability of funds.
Candidates will contribute to the education and training of graduate students in the MS IO Online program. This will include teaching courses in the candidate’s area of expertise and providing effective advisement and mentorship to a diverse population of students during their applied practica. Candidates will also be responsible for the coordination of activities for this program including program marketing; coordinating MS student activities; developing connections with local industry; and contributing to an inclusive learning and working environment
Minimum Qualifications
We seek candidates that specialize in any area of Industrial-Organizational Psychology or related field. Candidates should have experience teaching IO courses. Candidates should have some experience in teaching using a distance format and some experience in course development for provision of distance education. Candidates must have earned a Ph.D. in Psychology or related field at the time of appointment. ABD candidates will be considered but must have Ph.D. by start date or offer will be withdrawn.
