Gannon is a Catholic University that invites applications for a full-time, 12-month Assistant Certified Athletic Trainer to complete our team of seven full-time athletic trainers. Gannon's athletic training department program includes 22 varsity sports, in which 18 sports compete at the NCAA Division II level. The successful candidate will provide preventative care, rehabilitation, and athletic trainer services for all competitions and practices for intercollegiate sports; administer/organize athletic training services for student-athletes, and participate collaboratively and professionally with other faculty and staff to promote the general well-being of the department and University, and collective and individual interest of its staff and student body. Must be able to support and promote the University's Mission.
Qualifications include graduation from a CAATE-accredited undergraduate or professional master's program; NATABOC certification; active and good standing Commonwealth of Pennsylvania license or eligible for Pennsylvania licensure.
Gannon is located in the heart of downtown Erie, Pennsylvania, along the shores of Lake Erie, and offers ready access to a variety of cultural and exciting seasonal activities, and is within a two-hour drive of Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Buffalo.
