The Patricia VanBruwaene College of Business at St. Ambrose University is seeking applicants for the new position of Director of Business Master's Programs. This is a full-time position available beginning July 1, 2023 and will report to the Dean of the College of Business. The successful candidate will provide oversight and administration of the H.L. McLaughlin MBA and the Master of Organizational Leadership (MOL) programs, with particular emphasis on business development, student recruiting, and will serve as a liaison with business faculty and key St. Ambrose departments. The Director will be responsible for the development of MBA/MOL policy in the College, supporting the faculty in curriculum design, management of the curriculum and program innovation, building community among MBA/MOL students, and review of program performance to ensure continuous improvement, high quality, and high impact. The Director will contribute to specialized business accreditation documentation and process requirements. Minimum requirements include a doctoral degree, preferably in a business discipline or a closely related field. A record of teaching and/or administration at the graduate level is preferred. In addition to these qualifications, applicants should demonstrate their understanding of the rapidly changing environment of higher education and their documented ability to provide inclusive and agile leadership that can respond in an environment that values shared governance.
