College of the Sequoias is seeking an equity-minded candidate to fill a full-time, tenure-track position in the Geography Department beginning August 2023.

Job Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching physical geography, physical geography lab, and world regional geography. Possible additional offerings depend on the expertise and preference of the successful candidate and could include courses in meteorology and/or geographic information systems.
Assignments may include evening classes, weekend classes, and teaching at any of the College of the Sequoias campuses: Visalia, Hanford, and/or Tulare. Participation in the governance of the District by way of committee assignments is voluntary.
Other responsibilities include maintenance of a number of office hours, full participation in departmental responsibilities and the willingness to create and/or participate in and sustain an atmosphere of equality, which is respectful of diversity campus wide.
