The Florida Institute for Child Welfare (FICW) invites applications for a research faculty position, Assistant Director of Research and Evaluation, Academic Innovation.
This position will lead and supervise research and evaluation (R&E) related to academic innovation in child welfare at FICW.
Responsibilities include:
- Serves as principal investigator on multiple simultaneous projects and supervises delegated projects (in-house and outsourced). Advises the Associate Director on research-informed recommendations for policy and practice. Required to liaise with their professional development counterpart to evaluate FICW programming related to academic innovation. Identifies and fills relevant research gaps toward new programmatic development and continuous quality improvement. Serves as the main R&E point of contact of Project WAKE-UP. Supports the Associate Director in the strategic planning of the academic innovation research agenda. Standardly supervises 1 postdoctoral fellow and one graduate assistant.
Qualifications
Applicants must have a doctorate in social work or a related field. ABD candidates who will complete doctorates prior to the position start date will be considered.
