The Florida Institute for Child Welfare (FICW) invites applications for a research faculty position, Assistant Director of Research and Evaluation, Organizational Development.   


This position will lead and supervise research and evaluation (R&E) related to organizational development in child welfare at FICW.


Responsibilities include:

  • Leads and supervises research and evaluation (R&E) related to organizational development in child welfare at FICW. Serves as principal investigator on multiple simultaneous projects and supervises delegated projects (in-house and outsourced). Advises the Associate Director on research-informed recommendations for policy and practice. Required to liaise with their professional development counterpart to evaluate FICW programming related to organizational development. Identifies and fills relevant research gaps toward new programmatic development and continuous quality improvement.   Leads AWE site evaluations and program CQI and serves as main R&E point of contact for AWE R&E consultants. Supports the Associate Director in the strategic planning of the organizational development research agenda. Standardly supervises 1 postdoctoral fellow and one graduate assistant.





Applicants must have a doctorate in social work or a related field. ABD candidates who will complete doctorates prior to the position start date will be considered.
