Haverford College invites applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology in Cognitive Neuroscience to begin Fall 2023.
The Department of Psychology at Haverford College seeks to hire a full-time (equivalent of a total five courses across the year) Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology in Cognitive Neuroscience for the 2023-2024 academic year. Candidates who are able to teach Introductory Psychology or Research Methods and Statistics are especially encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will be able to teach effectively at all levels of the psychology curriculum, including introductory, intermediate, and advanced seminar courses in their area of expertise. Courses would contribute to major requirements for both the psychology and neuroscience majors. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate a commitment to engaging a diverse student body and creating an inclusive classroom environment in a liberal arts context.
The position begins September 1, 2023 for the fall semester of 2023, and it is expected that the Ph.D. will be completed prior to the start date (but ABD candidates will be considered).
