The University of Central Arkansas (UCA) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Exercise Science within the Department of Exercise and Sport Science. The successful candidate will teach four courses per academic term (fall-spring). Teaching responsibilities are assigned by the department chair in areas of need primarily at the undergraduate level. Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to develop and maintain a focused line of research, and provide service to the department, college, and university.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidates must possess a terminal degree in exercise science, exercise physiology, or a related field. Candidates that are ABD will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of three years teaching experience in higher education. Possess the ability to teach and develop undergraduate courses related to exercise physiology, fitness assessments, and exercise programming for a variety of populations. Experience with mentoring undergraduate students.
