Finger Lakes Community College (FLCC) is a public community college in Canandaigua, New York. It is affiliated with the State University of New York and sponsored by Ontario County. The main campus is just east of the City of Canandaigua, with additional campus centers in Victor, Geneva, and Newark to serve the needs of Ontario County, Wayne County, Yates County and Seneca County in the Finger Lakes region of New York.

The next Provost, Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs will have the responsibility of leading academic and student affairs including transfer, career and technical, and workforce development programs. They will have demonstrated success at advocating for both areas while leading in a collaborative manner with all areas of the College. Finger Lakes Community College is in the beginning stages of developing micro-pathways and short-term credentials and leadership to move this initiative forward will be necessary. The next provost will have a deep understanding of classroom and online teaching and the unique needs of community college students with experience in improving and developing online offerings as well as maintaining a robust in person course presence.
