Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Works with VPAAW to ensure cross functional teams meet divisional, department and campus strategic workforce integration goals
  • Provide overall administrative management for the Center: budget/ financial, staff supervision, annual assessments with progress toward short and long-term strategic goals.
  • Oversees the planning and coordination of all workforce integration efforts for the internal and external community.
  • Directs the planning and development of non-certificate program offerings, including the development of new curriculum and delivery methods.
  • Works in collaboration with key stakeholders to research and identify target audiences for non-credit programming and training opportunities.
  • Plans, budgets, monitors, and evaluates resource usage (monetary and human) for multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Provides talent development strategies and program implementation
  • Oversee assessment and evaluation of workforce and non-credit programming efforts
  • Works collaboratively with recruitment and marketing teams to drive the development and implementation of marketing and promotional materials, recruitment of learners, social media, etc.to maintain consistent efforts to attract individual and corporate partners
  • Collaborates with teams to evaluate campus, community, and business needs to expand training curriculum and certificate course offerings
  • Ensure non-credit offerings and trainings are current to meet diverse constituents
  • Assess regional and state level business needs and expand curriculum to meet corporate demand with latest technology to meet talent acquisition needs
  • Works collaboratively with VPAAW, and the marketing team to promote the department’s brand and capabilities to generate revenue increase.
  • Build, expand and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders (campus, school districts, community organizations, and corporate).
  • Consults with constituent organizations to assess professional development, skills training needs, performance enhancement needs, and implement strategies to meet corporate talent demand.
  • Manages all fiscal operations of the department budget and assist with fundraising proposals
  • Support efforts to seek funding and resources through corporate, state, federal and private sources to support department efforts
  • Develop an annual strategic plan and conduct annual employee and program reviews.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned

Shift

Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Some evening and weekend hours required.

Salary

Pay commensurate with education and experience.
Pay Range $55,208 - $78,525 Annually
Grade: GGS-011
University Title: Director Program/Project Operations

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree preferred in Workforce Education, Higher Education, Counselor Education, or Organizational Leadership
