Assistant/Associate/Professor Rank Clinical Faculty Position in Medicine, Medical Sciences, and Public Health


As part of a campus-wide initiative to hire leading clinical faculty with a strong commitment to teaching, research/scholarly activity and service that will:
  • Promote the success of underrepresented people in medicine (i.e., African American, Latino(a)(x)/Chicano(a)/Hispanic, and Native American/Indigenous populations), including faculty, patients, trainees, and the community;
  • Address the needs of our increasingly diverse state; and
  • Work to improve barriers preventing full participation of underrepresented people in higher education

UC Davis announces as assistant/associate/professor rank clinical faculty position in the School of Medicine. The successful candidate also will have an accomplished track record (calibrated to career stage) of teaching, research/scholarly work or service activities addressing the needs of underrepresented people, and a clearly articulated vision of how their work at UC Davis will continue to contribute to the University's mission of serving the needs of our diverse state and student population. Applicants' track record of engagement and activity related to diversity, equity, and inclusion as well as their plans for future engagement will be a significant part of the overall evaluation of the candidate's qualifications for a faculty appointment. The School of Medicine reported a total URM enrollment of 37.3% in 2020, the period considered for the ranking.
