Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Coordinator, serve as a frontline Customer Service Representative/Staff Assistant for Workforce Partnerships.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Be thoroughly knowledgeable about all Workforce programs and services, including the registration process
- Disseminate program information by telephone, in person, and electronically to potential and existing students as needed
- Perform data entry utilizing the electronic Student Information System such as Banner or comparable system
- Assist with monitoring the enrollment, scheduling, and cancellation of classes as needed, and contact registered students in case of cancellation, class delays and payment issues
- Maintain files and secure records
- Operate copy machine, facsimile and other office equipment as needed
- Act in a courteous and responsive way to customer needs and inquiries
- Participate in staff development activities offered through CCRI and/or the Division
- Work collaboratively with others in a diverse and inclusive environment
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Ability to provide the highest level of customer service at all times required
- Proficiency with computerized file maintenance, word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications essential.
- Accuracy and precision in data reporting necessary.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and professional appearance required
- Excellent organizational skills required
- Ability to work independently in an extremely busy environment
The most suitably qualified candidate will possess the following competencies:
- Associate Degree
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) strongly desired
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate Degree, preferred
- Experience working in an office environment preferred
