St. Mary’s College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary’s City is accepting résumés for the position of Web Developer.  The Web Developer is a key member of integrated marketing & communications team within the Department of Institutional Advancement. The Web Developer maintains and expands the comprehensive structure of the St. Mary's College of Maryland website in conjunction with the director of web services and web content specialist. The Web Developer will employ their excellent technical skills to enhance the College's admissions, alumni relations, branding, fundraising, event marketing, and other strategic advancement efforts.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in web design and development, computer programming, management information systems or related discipline preferred. Excellent understanding and hands-on experience with web design and development, preferably in a higher education environment. Technical skill with CSS/HTML5/Javascript/PHP is essential; at least one or more years’ experience with a Content Management System (CMS), experience with WordPress and Drupal are a definite plus.  Any combination of acceptable education and experience, which has provided the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill the requirements of this position, may be considered.  Employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check and proof of COVID-19 vaccination, medical and religious exemptions will be considered.
