Job Summary

To provide accompaniment for instrumental and choral ensembles and individual student juries, performances, auditions, and master classes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accompaniment for instrumental/choral student ensemble performances and rehearsals.
  • Provide accompaniment for specialized music classes.
  • Provide accompaniment for new student auditions, scholarship auditions and other special events.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Ability to provide and/or compose musical selections appropriate to dance genre.
Education and Experience

Special training or coursework that would facilitate composing and improvising music and/or coaching and accompanying and experience which has led to a thorough familiarity with accompanying choral groups and soloists (instrumental and vocal) or interpretive dances is required. Ability to sight read music scores preferred.
Compensation

The salary range for this classification is $20.22 to $35.43 per hour.
