This is a temporary assignment that will end when funding or hours is exhausted.

Governors State University is seeking an Extra Help EHS Supervisor/Coach is a dual role that supervises the day-to-day operations of the Early Head Start Classrooms to ensure program compliance to DCFS, EHS, and NAEYC standards in addition to providing embedded professional development and implementing research-based coaching that focuses on instructional excellence. Pay is $32/Hour.

• The hourly rate of pay is $32.00
• Work Schedule: M-F 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Work hours may vary according to student/program needs)

Minimum Qualifications

1. Must be a resident of the State of Illinois.
2. Baccalaureate in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related field
3. Illinois Gateways Director Level 1 Credential
4. 3 years of experience as an infant/toddler teacher

Preferred Qualifications

Illinois Professional Educator Licensed Endorsed in Early Childhood Education
Illinois Gateways Infant/Toddler Level 3 Credential
1 year of experience in a child care assistant director/director
