Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Security Risk and Compliance Analyst will conduct work as directed by the Information Security Risk and Compliance Manager related to University risk management activities involving significant changes and/or introduction of new IT solutions and or processes, information or IT security controls, information flows, data process modeling, and/or information security compliance mandates and objectives.
The position will also conduct work as directed by the Information Security Risk and Compliance Manager related to the management of the University’s information security vendor risk management program needed to track, evaluate, report, and coordinate with University vendors to ensure that risks to institutional data and outsourced mission-critical processes are managed in alignment with UNC System and University requirements.
This position will also perform special projects, research activities, and other duties as assigned.
