Job Summary

Reporting to the Assistant Director, the Program Coordinator for the Raj & Kamla Gupta Governance Institute (GGI) is responsible for the promotion, development and operation of GGI’s programs and initiatives. The Program Coordinator will build and sustain positive relationships with GGI’s Advisory Board, practitioners, faculty, investors, staff and students. The Raj & Kamla Gupta Governance Institute represents the Gupta Governance Institute and LeBow to key industry leaders and business professionals. The Program Coordinator must exhibit the highest degree of integrity, professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.

As the Program Coordinator, candidates will be expected to develop and execute programs and provide administrative support to continue to maximize the visibility of the Raj & Kamla Gupta Governance Institute’s brand to potential and existing investors, program participants, faculty and researchers, and governance practitioners.

Essential Functions
  • Events
    • Develop and execute program topics and materials and market the programs to the appropriate target markets (e.g. Directors Dialogues, Academic Conference on Corporate Governance, Directors Academy, and Webinars).
    • Manage events designed to support the strategic initiatives of GGI.
    • Vendor management, timelines, agendas, logistics, parking, food service, collateral materials, technology needs, briefs, event communications including speeches, talking points, remarks, etc.
    • Participation in speaker recruitment and confirmation.
    • Support event-related logistics such as room reservations, event registration, catering orders, nametags, event services support, and audio-visual requests.
    • Attend and work all events.
    • Support the Executive Director and Assistant Director with recruitment for the various programs.
    • Assist the Executive Director and Assistant Director to secure funding from investors to support programs and GGI activities.
  • Administration and Communications
    • Maintain the GGI program attendance and contacts.
    • Send out bi-weekly newsletters based upon content from the Academic Director and Executive Director.
    • Update MailChimp mailing lists with new clients and prospects.
    • Aid in the creation of a new database for the Institute.
    • Ensure OneDrive contains all current and final documents.
    • Track program attendance and issue appropriate follow up after meetings and programs.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of in marketing, program development or a similar role
  • Experience in marketing, program development or a similar role.
  • Understanding of social media platforms, general marketing and customer relationship management
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Exceptional networking ability, high EQ, and high level of professionalism.
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and interpersonal
  • Very detail oriented.
  • Excellent administrative and software skills (including Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel)
  • Creativity and ability to work on own initiatives and meet deadlines independently.
  • Ability to multitask and own several programs and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to plan and carry out programming and events.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Ability to manage budgets.

Hybrid/Flexible Arrangement, Philadelphia, PA

Additional Information

This position is classified as Exempt with a salary grade of J, $47,490 - $71,230. The offered salary is dependent upon internal equity and the successful candidate’s competencies, education, and experience.
