This is a 12-month full time position that resides in the Athletic Department within the Division of Student Affairs. This position reports directly to the Executive Director of Athletics.

The Head Coach is responsible for the direction, instruction and supervision of the Women’s Soccer program as well as the oversight and development of assistant coaches and other personnel such as team managers, student workers and volunteers.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, operations of the assigned sport, compliance with all NCAA and NJAC rules & regulations, adherence to the standards & values of TCNJ and the Athletic Department, recruitment & development of qualified student-athletes, academic support & integrity, competition scheduling & preparation, practice planning & implementation, budget management, fundraising and alumni relations.

  • Graduation from an accredited college/university with a Bachelor’s degree supplemented by a Master’s degree in a field related to the position or equivalency as determined by the appointing authority.
  • Minimum of 3 years college coaching experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
  • Demonstrated experience successfully recruiting high achieving student-athletes
  • Demonstrated commitment to the academic success, personal growth and athletic development of student-athletes
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity
  • Experience with alumni relations and fundraising strongly desired
