Summary/Objective

The Digital Enrollment Marketing Manager implements enrollment marketing and communication strategy for online and on campus graduate programs to drive prospective student engagement and admission in conjunction with SOC’s Graduate Academic Services Office and Communications & Outreach team. The Manager reports to SOC’s Director of Enrollment & Analytics, and works closely with SOC’s Assistant Dean of Graduate Academic Services, the Director of Communications and Outreach, Online Content Manager and Recruitment Coordinator.

Essential Functions
  1. Enrollment marketing and communication – Support email marketing automation for SOC graduate enrollment. Collect and report on user engagement data. Offer data driven recommendations to optimize enrollment marketing campaigns focusing on prospective SOC graduate students. Maintain marketing calendar for multi-channel digital campaigns and communications to drive graduate inquiries and conversion, including on-demand email communication. Collaborate with the Online Content Manager for web updates and social media posts. Manage Chat Bot, text messaging and nurture top of funnel leads.
  2. Data Analysis and Engagement Attribution – In conjunction with the Director of Enrollment & Analytics, develop best-in-class marketing attribution and communication engagement data collection, analysis and reporting. Sustain timely uploads of marketing lists from lead generation campaigns. Track conversion of all leads to consistently evaluate return on investment of marketing, recruitment and communication efforts. Collaborate with Communications & Outreach on web optimization using Google analytics.
  3. Recruitment – Partner with SOC’s Recruitment Coordinator to boost participation in recruitment initiatives. Work to improve conversion across the applicant cycle from inquiry generation through enrollment.
  4. Other duties as assigned to support SOC’s strategic mission and goals.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
  • Full Time, 35 hours/week.

  • This is a union-eligible position.
  • With this position, there is flexibility to work virtually 3 days/week.
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or a closely related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in higher education or digital marketing and communications.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Familiarity with CRM databases
