The University of Minnesota Law School plans to fill a
*tenure-track junior (entry-level or junior lateral) faculty
position. We welcome applications from candidates across all areas
of law.
- Applications will be accepted via email to the Appointments Committee, lawappointments@umn.edu. Applications should include: cover letter, CV, research agenda, list of preferred courses to teach, and references.
Considering both senior lateral candidates and advanced junior lateral candidates to fill a *tenured position in race and the law, and a *tenured position in labor and employment law.
- Applicants for each of these two tenured positions should send a cover letter and an updated CV to the Appointments Committee, lawappointments@umn.edu. The cover letter should include mention of teaching preferences.
Each position will begin in the 2022-23 academic year. Applicants should hold a J.D. or degree of equivalent rank and should demonstrate outstanding potential in scholarship and teaching. People of color, women, individuals with disabilities, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and other candidates who will contribute to the cultural and intellectual diversity of the faculty are strongly encouraged to apply.
