The University of Montana Physical Therapy Clinic
a dynamic, self-motivated individual to join our team as Clinic
. The UMPT Clinic provides services that include
physical therapy and wellness to University of Montana students,
faculty, and staff and active individuals of all ages in the
community. In addition to physical therapy services, the UMPT
Clinic also provides physical therapy and fitness programs for
people with physical limitations, disabilities and chronic
illnesses through our New Directions Wellness Center.
Responsibilities of the Clinic Coordinator include:
- Welcoming, registering, scheduling, and coordinating care for
all patients, including referrals, in-person and via phone
- Maintaining confidential patient files both in paper and
electronic medical records
- Collecting patient payments made at the time of service
- Supervising student employees and volunteers working in the
- Participating in insurance verification tasks
- Managing clinic inventory and ordering of supplies
- Maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for all
clients, students, and providers
Minimum Required Experience
- Ability to operate personal computers, related word processing,
spreadsheets and database software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective time management, organizational skills, and attention
- High school diploma and two (2) years related work experience,
or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
