Summary of Job Details:
Responsible for Undocumented Student Services (USS), including overall mission, strategic plans, management, assessment, and evaluation. Sets USS's leadership, vision, priorities, policy development, and goals including short and long-range strategic goals. Conducts assessment and evaluation of student and campus education needs, and program efficacy. Provides support services, counseling, advising, referral and mentorship. Subject matter expertise required on undocumented student's needs and issues, federal, state and UC policies relevant to undocumented and mixed status students and student development theory. Responsible for the creation of new initiatives to address service gaps for undocumented students and their families, either directly as part of USS or in collaboration with campus partners. Responsible for developing and maintaining strategic partnerships on and off-campus to create and implement programs and services to address and support undocumented students' persistence, retention, and success. Oversees selection process and human resource for USS Program Assistant. Provides general supervision, training, and evaluation. Develops, manages and implements an undergraduate student intern program. Recruits and trains interns. Supervise and evaluates designated interns. Position will include occasional evenings and weekend work.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
• Knowledgeable of policies related to immigration and hold subject matter expertise on undocumented students' needs and issues, federal, state and UC policies relevant to undocumented and mixed status students and student development theory
• Work experience in a higher education setting or related field - Five years
Special Conditions of Employment:
• Satisfactory criminal history background check.

Pay Rate/Range: $75,570/yr. - $79,140/yr.
Days/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM
