Responsible for the development and expansion of
high school partnerships. The position works closely with high
school counselors to build enrollment and create career academies
to assist in recruitment of full-time MPCC students following high
school graduation. Duties include, but are not limited to,
collaboration with high schools throughout the 18-county service
area to encourage enrollment in dual credit and early entry
courses, advising early entry students, creating course schedules,
utilize Jenzabar reports, tracking of enrollments and student
progress as well as assisting with the admissions process.
Mid-Plains Community College, a legislatively designated 18-county
service area in West-Central Nebraska, is a comprehensive, open
access, public, two-year community college system that offers
associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. MPCC consists of
three main campuses, one located in McCook, Nebraska and two
located in North Platte, Nebraska. Additionally, there are
community campus sites in Broken Bow, Imperial, Ogallala and
Valentine with satellite classrooms located throughout the Area.

Bachelor’s degree in education or related field required; master’s
degree preferred. Knowledge of the high school environment along
with a background in admissions, advising, career or student
services preferred. Excellent customer service skills and detail
oriented. Position requires the ability to travel regularly to area
high schools. Position could be located at any of our MPCC
