Position Summary

The College of Public Health at the University of Georgia invites applications for an academic professional to serve as the administrator of the online Masters in Public Health ( MPH ) program. The appointment is for a full-time administrative, 12-month position. The position may be fully remote and is available starting January 2023.

Duties will include providing administrative oversight and coordination of the newly created online MPH, online MPH student recruitment/advisement/practicum administration, and financial management of the online program. Applicants should have a history supporting a graduate programs, have familiarity with a full menu of tools for the development, delivery, and evaluation of online education, and have strong organizational skills. The ability to interact effectively with faculty, staff, students, and community members is essential.

Minimum Qualifications

A terminal degree in public health or related discipline.

A master’s degree ( MPH ) is acceptable. Please see Additional Requirements below.

Additional Requirements

Candidates with a master’s degree must document exceptional accomplishments in public health or related area and must be approved for a terminal degree exception before hire.

Required qualifications include a minimum of 3-5 years of experience teaching and/or administering online higher education courses.

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, and/or Certification

Applicants with an advanced degree in public health or closely related discipline are preferred.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion in their teaching, research and/or service
