Job Description

The Robert J. Trulaske, Sr. College of Business is seeking a Recruiter of undergraduate students. This position will assist in organizing and implementing the college’s recruitment campaigns and activities to attract students to a variety of college programs. Primary functions include but are not limited to the following.
  • Communicate with prospective students about the benefits of attending MU and studying business.
  • Share academic program opportunities via Slate technology platform, off campus at college fairs, and by hosting students and families on campus.
  • Facilitate the enrollment and transfer of students.
  • Develop initiatives to recruit underrepresented minority students.
  • Develop marketing materials.
  • Work with high school counselors and business instructors to promote MU and the Trulaske College.
  • Coordinate summer recruitment and retention programs such as Trulaske Business Academy, TruWomen, the Trulaske Experience, and Camp Trulaske.
  • Work collaboratively with two other Trulaske College recruiters, student ambassadors, student workers, Camp Trulaske student directors, staff, and faculty.
  • Analyze data related to prospective students as well as incoming freshmen and transfer students to identify areas for additional recruitment opportunities.
  • Work to attract and engage with prospective students and their families.
  • Develop and deliver presentations. Communicate orally and in writing.
  • Work closely with Academic Advising and degree and program requirements
  • Create and monitor recruitment metrics.
Salary

Salary Range: $48,900 - $68,815 annually
GGS Grade: 010
University Title: Senior Student Service Coordinator

Shift

On campus 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday. This position includes some travel within the state and to other recruiting locations. Occasional weekend recruiting events are scheduled.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in higher education is preferred, specifically related to student recuitment or academic advising.
