Administrative Coordinator- Khoury College
About the Opportunity
The Dean's Office of the Khoury College of Computer Sciences requires an individual with proven skills in handling confidential materials, multi-tasking and handling sensitive situations in a calm, thoughtful and professional manner.
Responsibilities:
Provides efficient administrative and project management support to key members of the college senior leadership team. This includes assisting in mobilizing, tracking, and completing key projects assigned by the Dean and Senior Leadership Team. The chosen candidate will track work progress and create new landing spaces in Khoury's Admin Portal- this includes designing and managing new processes and tracking mechanisms. Will ensure that policies and procedures are implemented consistently within the College and in accordance with University, federal, and state laws. All of these duties require high attention to detail and the ability to work effectively, and with deep discretion, under multiple deadlines.
Major responsibilities include covering the front desk of the Dean's Suite, providing administrative support and project management for several areas.
This individual must be able to multi-task under a fast-paced environment with many competing priorities. This position is Hybrid and must be on-campus 3 days/week.
Qualifications:
Highly efficient time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Ability to work with minimal or no supervision. Self-motivated and effective in a team setting and individually. Knowledge and skills typically acquired through completion of an Associate's Degree or equivalent with one to two years in an office environment using computers and telephones to carry out diverse administrative duties.
