Job Details
This position works under the Assistant Director of Network Services with general supervision and guidance and within established goals and priorities set forth by the CIO, consistent with Information Technology Services goals. This position works closely with the Network team, and ITS units to ensure consistent standards and best practices are followed for a reliable and secure wireless and wired campus network. This position has responsibility for network services including installation and management of core and edge switching, monitor, secure, and test network components, manage devices which authenticates users, secure data, balance network loads, network management tools, troubleshooting network problems. This position is responsible to manage and proactively resolve networking tickets routed to themselves and assist team members with their tickets as appropriate. This position should work to provide consistent and accurate network documentation.
