Position Summary:

In this position the individual will assist in research in sensor signal and image processing, as well as will review, derive, implement, and test algorithms for sensor exploitation. Additionally will conduct and evaluate experiments with measured and synthetic data. Will be responsible for writing reports and technical papers on research results, and then will present results in meetings with sponsors. Will contribute to the pursuit of new research funding.
Minimum Qualifications:

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or closely related field
• 1 year of experience in radar or communications applications
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to hold US government security clearance
• US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

• M.S. in Electrical Engineering or closely related field
• Active security clearance
• Experience with algorithms for synthetic aperture radar
• Experience working with socially and culturally diverse communities

A federal court on December 7, 2021, issued a ruling that suspends the COVID-19 vaccine requirement that applies to federal contractors nationwide. With this development, the University will pause any enforcement action against employees who have not complied with the requirement to be fully vaccinated by Dec. 8, 2021 or to have requested an exemption to maintain their employment status.
