Doane University, a nationally recognized liberal arts and sciences university in Crete, Nebraska, invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Psychology (tenure-track) to start August 2023.
- Ph.D. or Advanced ABD in Psychology
- Commitment to teaching in an undergraduate liberal arts university is expected among strong candidates.
Anticipated responsibilities include teaching 21 credit hours per year (Fall and Spring) of undergraduate courses. Courses could include Physiological Psychology, Research Methodology, Health Psychology, Criminal/Forensic/Law Psychology, Introductory Psychology or Sports Psychology. Candidates may also develop courses in their area of expertise. The department is seeking a generalist, and the area of specialization is open, however those with specific training in Biological Psychology, Health Psychology or Criminal/Forensic/Law Psychology or related areas are encouraged to apply.
