Housing Systems Manager

Position Summary:
This position provides direct management of undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate, faculty, and staff housing applications, resident billing, housing and meal plan creation, and system reporting. The key responsibility will be management of the housing software. They will assist with assessment & implementation of housing processes within the electronic housing management system (StarRez) and provide a high level of customer support to students, prospective students, faculty, staff, visitors, and parents through thoughtful and strategic development of housing software and systems. As a managerial position supervision of full time and/or student staff may be an opportunity for this position.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Program coding languages such as StarQL and SQL.
- Explaining policies, procedures, and rules.
- Providing customer service, both in person and over the phone.
- Using computer software and applications for word processing, email, internet searches and data organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business, administration, or related field.
- Specific knowledge and experience with StarQL and SQL coding for StarRez housing software.
- Experience creating and managing complex housing application software.
- Experience working in a college or university setting.
- Experience using Banner, housing management software (Star Rez).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
