Job Description:
Reporting to the Director of Customer Experience, the Relationship Manager (Operations) acts as liaison between Information Technology Services and administrative departments, including Athletics, Dining Services, Facilities, Human Resources, and Public Safety. This position's primary goal is to help administrative departments identify and achieve efficiencies and automations that allow for staff to focus on the business of the College. The incumbent is responsible for managing and supporting a portfolio of applications used in administrative support of the functions of the College. This position works with administrative departments to determine needs and evaluate technology solutions. This position will serve as a point of escalation for customer issues and shepherd projects through governance processes.
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Serve as a liaison between ITS and administrative departments, working to understand and evaluate needs and then propose and implement technical solutions.
- Work with administrative departments to review processes and procedures, with an eye towards suggesting technology to increase efficiency and automation.
- Oversee a portfolio of applications related to the administrative work of the College.
- Work with other members of the ITS department shepherd projects through the proposal, design, implementation, and support process.
- Work with the Application Developer(s) to enhance and support custom built technical applications.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of related experience.
- Experience administering software applications.
- Experience gathering and documenting requirements and building solutions specifications.
- Ability to learn new software applications.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills required.
- Higher education experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience administering public safety applications (door access, camera systems) is a plus but not required and can be trained.
- Experience working with an HRIS team is a plus but not required and can be trained.
- Experience working with Athletics systems is a plus but not required and can be trained.
- Experience working with campus dining systems is a plus but not
required and can be trained.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time, exempt level position. The College is committed to providing competitive market pay for its employees. The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 - $75,000 and is commensurate with experience and qualifications. The College also offers a competitive benefits package for full-time staff, including:
