Visiting Assistant Professor of Accounting

Coe College seeks qualified applicants who are passionate about teaching in a small liberal arts environment for a one year Visiting Assistant Professor of Accounting position beginning Fall 2023. The successful candidate will teach three accounting courses per semester (six per year) with class sizes ranging from 10 to 25 students and will have an interest and ability to embrace Coe’s student-centered approach to education. Working in a supportive environment, the candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to and influence the learning and success of our increasingly-diverse student body.  

The Department of Economics and Business Administration at Coe is the largest department on campus, consisting of 12 full-time faculty from diverse backgrounds. The department offers six majors, including public accounting, managerial accounting, business administration, economics, international business, and international economics.  The accounting program at Coe has been growing in recent years and has been very successful in preparing and inspiring students for their careers after graduation. The College’s Center for Creativity, Careers and Community works with the Department in offering support for accounting students seeking internships and jobs.
