The general focus of this collaboration is to expand and amplify scientific inquiry on cardiovascular disease and the related issues of increased cardiovascular disease risk, disease risk interventions, and the role of racial discrimination and social determinants of cardiovascular health in under-served populations across the lifespan.  When possible, we seek to expand the pipeline of scientists from underrepresented minorities.
