Job Description Summary:

To assist a dedicated ACCFI brand in the Designers-in-Residence program with business operations and development activities and branded Fashion Incubator projects. This role will support the overall department goals and objectives for preparation of for business operations, reporting, costing, and business communications required for business development, master classes and workshops for prepared brand growth and expansion, both physical and digital.

Job Description:

Description of Duties and Tasks
  • Pitchdeck creation and updates

  • Financial reports and basic financial analysis

  • Creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures

  • Assist with customer and market research

  • Review and update communication materials to include web updates

  • Maintain internal knowledge management systems

  • Participate in team and departmental meetings and initiatives

  • Contribute to writing business plans and strategies

  • Assist when requested on customer service

  • Assist when requested to communicate with vendors as needed

  • May be asked to attend Designer-in-Residence virtual learning to support intern training efforts

  • Other tasks as they arise

  • Will be integrating the use of the Gerber digital solutions package in all design and development stages of the process. Must be comfortable learning and using new technology.
Required Education
  • Must be current ACC student
  • High school graduate or currently earning a credit bearing degree in Fashion Marketing, Business, Global Supply Chain, Entrepreneurship, Or similar course of study or comparable certificate program.
Required Work Experience
  • As required.
Physical Requirements
  • Work is routinely performed in a standard office or similar environment.
  • Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
  • Occasional lifting of objects up to 30 pounds.
Safety
  • Work safely and follow safety rules. Report unsafe working conditions and behavior. Take reasonable and prudent actions to prevent others from engaging in unsafe practices.
