Program Director, Student Affairs
Job Description:
Responsible for assisting in all aspects of development, design, and completion of a broad range of projects and initiatives that support the Dean of Students Office mission, values, and strategic framework as well as the work of the Dean of Students.
Collaborates with and provides support to the Dean of Students for program strategy, evaluation, execution, and assessment to help improve overall functioning and effectiveness of the Dean of Students Office.
Facilitate collaboration through meetings, workgroups, and dialogue with internal/external stakeholders to accomplish projects and initiatives that support the Dean of Students Office mission, values, and strategic framework as well as the work of the Dean of Students.
Coordinates and provides leadership in the preparation of creative presentations, report production (both periodic and specialized), speeches, and other public materials as needed by the Dean of Students.
Represents the Dean of Students Office during engagements with other units, key stakeholders, and community members on behalf of the Dean of Students when needed. Performs other duties as assigned by the Dean of Students or another appropriate administrator.
Contributes to the Division of Student Life and University of Florida through active participation on committees, departmental initiatives, and division-wide initiatives (example opportunities: emergency dean on call, event support team, conduct committee, student welcome events, etc.)
Expected Salary:
$62,000 - $65,000 annually.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in student affairs, higher education, or related field and four years of relevant experience; Experience with the regulations, systems, and processes at the University of Florida.
