Position Summary

The Neelamegham laboratory , within the departments of Chemical and Biological Engineering , Biomedical Engineering , and Medicine , works on a variety of research problems related to human inflammatory diseases, thrombosis, cancer, and virology. We apply molecular engineering principles including gene editing and high-throughput methods in these areas. We are looking for technical staff and an enthusiastic person who wants to learn and grow with us.

Position Responsibilities will include:
  • Working with small animal rodent models
  • Using laboratory equipment to manipulate cells in culture
  • Data analysis to interpret and document results

Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or two years of formal training in subject matter directly related to the project and at least 3 years of experience directly related to the project.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with laboratory experience in related areas.
  • Applicant should be enthusiastic about working with graduate students, performing team science that results in publications, and should have good communication skills.
Physical Demands

Salary Range
$15.00 -$20.00 per hour

Additional Salary Information

Work Hours

20-30 hours per week between 8:30am-5:00pm Mon-Fri
