Description

The College of Pharmacy at The University of Texas at Austin is dedicated to providing exemplary education, training, research, and professional development for Pharm.D. students, graduate students, and postgraduates; to advance discovery, innovation, and patient care. To help advance this mission, we are seeking a distinguished applicant to fill one professional-track (non-tenure), clinical faculty position at the rank of assistant, associate, or professor (depending on qualifications) for a full-time Internal Medicine faculty position. This position is located in Austin, Texas and will be co-funded (50/50) with Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas (DSMC-UT) and The College of Pharmacy at The University of Texas at Austin with a practice site at DSMC-UT.

The primary practice focus of this position is adults admitted to inpatient internal medicine. The faculty member will be expected to supervise pharmacy students and residents to help them learn how to care for patients with acute and chronic conditions. The successful individual will have interests in developing interprofessional collaborations to advance pharmacy practice, research, and scholarship. We aim to be an exemplar of intersectional and inclusive excellence through a rigorous approach to the understanding of intercultural engagement in our ever-expanding global world and knowledge economy.
