The University of Wisconsin (UW) System offers a comprehensive benefits package to meet the diverse needs of our community. The University contributes towards the cost of several benefit plans. Job Summary
Primary responsibilities for this position is cleaning facilities, removing waste and recycling, and monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours. Ensures cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in assigned areas.

Positions Available:
1st Shift - Monday - Friday (6:00AM - 2:30PM) Full-Time
2nd Shift - Monday - Friday (5:45PM - 9:45PM) Part-Time
3rd Shift - Sunday-Thursday (10:00PM - 6:30AM) Full-Time

The pay for this position will begin at $15.00 per hour.
(Shift premium and weekend premiums may be available)

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants for this vacancy must:
  • Ability to stand/ walk 8 hours per day
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion
  • General knowledge of cleaning and floor care


Preferred Qualifications
Highly qualified candidates will also have:
  • Previous cleaning experience in an office or school setting.
  • Documented experience using scrubbing, buffing, and carpet machines
