Job Summary: SUNY Brockport invites applications for a Women's Health/Obstetric Instructor in the Department of Nursing to begin August of 2023. This person's main rsponsibility will be clinical supervision of students for OB clinical. This candidate may also teach in person in lab and class.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in nursing from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Department of Education recognized accrediting organization.
  • Valid NYS professional nursing license.
  • Recent clinical experience working in the women's health/obstetric clinical site.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, public, college community and external constituencies, with an appreciation for cultural and group differences.

    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with the development of curriculum.
  • Experience with the supervision of students in the clinical area.
  • Knowledge of basic computer programs and information technology systems.
