Work Site Location: Coeur d' Alene Campus
Work Schedule: full-time, year round. May require shift work, on-call, and/or irregular work schedules, including weekends.

Job Summary:
The purpose of this position is to serve as a working supervisor responsible for organizing and directing the daily operations of the maintenance department and providing guidance and support to all Maintenance employees. Performs journey level work or equivalent in one or more of the specific trades included in Maintenance..

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience : Associate’s degree, completion/graduation of trade school, or journeyman license and five years of full-time equivalent related experience, including at least one year of experience supervising work crews in trades-related work environments required.
Equivalent combination of education, experience and training in maintenance crafts may be substituted for degree or license requirement.
Experience must include reading and understanding blueprints, specifications and a variety of technical instruction manuals; estimating material needs and cost for jobs; and using specialized tools and equipment associated with the maintenance trades.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Extensive knowledge of one or more of the Maintenance trades, having performed skilled repair and maintenance in structural carpentry, electrical, mechanical (HVAC/R, plumbing)
• Knowledge of building maintenance and repair, building codes and energy conservation techniques.
• Good communication skills
• Proficient in operating personal computer, including Microsoft Windows and Office applications, Outlook and CMMS asset management and service request software.
• Ability to operate standard office equipment including phone, fax, copier
