Assistant Professor of Psychology (non tenure-track)
Lander University

 

Lander University invites applications for a non-tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology to begin in August 2023.  Specific area of specialization is open, but the position requires effective teaching of behavioral statistics and research methods as well as mentorship of undergraduate research.  The successful candidate will be expected to teach 30 hrs. a year, advise and mentor a diverse student population, and contribute to university service.  Strong evidence of excellence in teaching, student mentorship, and service are required for promotion.

The Department offers majors and minors in Psychology and Human Services and a minor in Child and Family Studies.

A Ph.D. by time of appointment is preferred but ABD will be considered. Evidence of teaching effectiveness, and a record demonstrating expertise in research methodology and statistical analysis is required.
